Paid IMC jobs for students | Life Science Meeting

IMC students have the opportunity to apply for paid (daywise) jobs at the IMC Krems. Very good German skills are a prerequisite for any job on offer. The payment is 15.30 Euro/h and includes any “Sonderzahlungen” according to the Austrian labour law.

Wanted: Student assistants for help and support with the organisation of the 21st Life Science Meeting on 07 and 08 May 2025 (reception, support and service for/at the coffee breaks, support for speakers, general support with organisational matters)

Students of IMC Krems (preferably, of course, Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology students) can apply

Working hours:
07.05.2025: 08:30 – 17:30 & 08.05.2025: 08:30 – 17:30

Dress code: Jeans and IMC T-shirt

Short notice: Students holding a NON-EU citizenship can only register, if they hold a valid work permit. Due to very strict work permit regulations (Austrian labour law) a registration without the required work permit is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Data Protection

The IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Piaristengasse 1, 3500 Krems, [email protected], processes the personal data that you have submitted in your online application. This processing is based on the fulfilment of the pre-contractual legal relationship in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR and is carried out for the purpose of processing your application. After successful application you will conclude a contract with the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems and further data processing is based on the fulfilment of this contract according to Art 6 para 1 lit b GDPR or is based on the statutory reporting requirements of IMC FH Krems (Art 6 para 1 lit c GDPR). There is no statutory obligation to provide this data, however, the non-provision of the described data precludes initial processing of your application and subsequent conclusion of a contract and employment at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. The student data is primarily used internally by employees of the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Piaristengasse 1, 3500 Krems; it is also transferred to the ÖGK (Austria Health Insurance Fund), due to compliance with legal obligations. Payment will be carried out by the IMC HR department minus possible fees and taxes. The deletion period for employee data is 7 years from termination of employment. If an upright educational contract does not oppose this, the deletion period regarding data on unsuccessful applications is 7 months from the final rejection.
